Company introduction- Non Zero Games is a game collective in the process of making our first release, a strategic browser game with the work title "Interim". We are mainly stationed in Stockholm, Sweden.
Compensation- 2000 USD.
Responsibilities- We need an artist/illustrator to make the final art for our game. It is both illustrations for the descriptive portraits in the game (players, places, actions etc) and icons for the game (building types, resources, etc). Most of the art will be still and not animated.
Qualifications- A thorough, reliable and skilful artist is what we need. A sense for graphical design is a great plus, as the game is in essence a website. We need someone who will stay committed to the project and not leave or trail off because of other obligations.
Other strategic browser games are all ugly as sin. We want our game to have a strong look. To simply to look different. We believe that a lot can be done with still imagery (and text), things that can't be done with animated sprites. We want to push this as far as it can go and make something really cool.
There is a strong focus on cities and buildings in the game so knowledge in how to draw/paint that kind of stuff is also good.

Location- We are based in Stockholm but most of us live abroad a lot if the time. We can definitely do this work with anyone in the world.
